Californ-i-a

California style is synonymous with ease.

Levi jeans and a t-shirt can be seen in different variations on every street corner from Echo Park to Inglewood and yet, it remains timeless. Being a Cali girl myself, California style (think basics: shirt/pants, shirt/skirt, dress) is still the foundation to all my wardrobe choices but New York has become an influence on how to make simple fashion “extra”. I love a good denim/t-shirt moment and that was definitely pursued while in LaLa Land. However, instead of a plain white t-shirt, a vibrant, striped, New York-approved long sleeve took its place. Light washed denims play well with palm trees and they looked amazing with the three-pronged silver earrings I copped at TopShop (a total New York influence). Lastly, if you can’t wear a sandal in California, where can you wear them?! To make my outfit lively and chill, I sported my omnipresent white mules. California sure looked good on me.
